It's just after midnight, and I'm on the balcony looking out over the lights of Aruba. Our bags are packed, and later today we depart on our return trip to New Jersey. We don't leave 'til the afternoon, so we'll have time for a leisurely breakfast. But we have to return our little rental car and be at the airport way in advance.

We had fun. We always have fun. There's something about four women loose on a Caribbean island that is automatic fun. The weather was beautiful (it did rain one day) and we just passed the time on the clean and spacious beaches, or at the casinos or at a classy restaurant. It was great.

It was warm when we left New Jersey, but I understand it's been rainy and chilly since then, and we're gonna have some real fall weather awaiting when we return this afternoon (it's about time).

And then it's right back to work. From sunny walks on the beach to rainy commutes to work. There should be some kind of transition period.

But there are a coupla very friendly felines awaiting my return. See you soon Hunky and Dorie :)
