I'm down the Jersey shore for the weekend with two of my friends I've know since high school. One is about to become a first-time grandmother, the other a first-time mother-in-law. I've been with them through lots of firsts.

Our weekend away is not related to any firsts. There is an annual craft fair/block party in downtown Ocean City this weekend, but that's incidental - we just wanted to get a weekend away and enjoy ourselves.
