Hunky and Dorie continue to be each other's primary source of amusement - the pitter-patter of their thundering little feet attest to that.

Hunky is now about twice Dorie's size and definitely more muscular. And he's almost double her weight. But they continue to play like the kittens they'll always be.

They've also developed their own distinct personalities. Hunky has become more of a people cat. He joins us during the tv hours, curled up on a lap or nearby. He prefers our presence and knows how to get our attention (if meowing fails, walking on us generally succeeds).

Dorie remains the more curious of the pair and continues to find things to get into. We discovered she had crawled up the back of the stereo equipment, using the cables as steps, and had managed to disconnect the most of the components.

But when both of them are tired of doing their own thing, they always seek each other out for nap time. It's always a joy to see them curled up peacefully next to each other.

It means they're not off somewhere destroying something.
