Last night I attended a Bruce Springsteen concert at Giants Stadium, just outside New York. I've been to several Springsteen concerts in the last quarter-century, and they've always been energetic and fun. And last night was no exception. He did a lot of new stuff (that I wasn't familiar with) but a lot of the oldies too. Even more surprising was the fact that "The Boss" will be 60 next year (if Mick Jagger can do it, so can he).

I went with my sister and her family; they had an extra ticket. Initially, we really didn't know where we were going. We knew that Giants Stadium was part of the Meadowlands Sports Complex located at the last exit of the New Jersey Turnpike. But that didn't tell us how to get from the Turnpike to the stadium. So I brought along my GPS unit. We had gotten to the Turnpike by the time we realized that we needed an address to locate our destination. We entered Giants Stadium and Meadowlands but the GPS said nothing.

I finally called the Husband at home and had him look up the address on the Internet. We learned that the official address was in East Rutherford NJ. Who knew?

So I have another Sringsteen concert under my belt. I guess as long as he'll keep performing, I'll keep attending. It's more work for him than me :)
