Jan. 19, 2009 Monday
Due to my hierarchy in the Stampin' Up fraternity (which is more of a sororiety, though there are a few males in this cottage industry), I was invited to the Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida, for the first time.last week. I attended with my friend and stamping mentor who had led me into this obsession. It was much like the general convention held every summer in Utah, but with attendance limited to those who have acquired a leadership role.It was fun, and we took two extra days for Disney World (one of my favorite places). Disney World was not crowded at all - we rarely had to wait in lines, and I discovered a new ride - Toy Story Mania - which has become my current favorite ride.
However, upon return, Christmas was still well in evidence throughout the house. The Husband had put away the outside decorations, but the ornaments and inside decorations were my responsibility. I packed away the tree ornaments and dragged the tree outside.
But --
Tonight and tomorrow are two of my scheduled "stamp camps," and I had a lot of preparation still to do for them that took priority over packing away Christmas. As a result, Christmas is still well in evidence throughout the house.
Which is still nice, I think. Don't you?
