I keep thinking about those poor folks in Iowa and New Hamphire that have been bombarded for months with political advertising. Political advertising literally makes me ill. Thank God for waste baskets and mute buttons. You always hear the lament that only a little more than half the registered voters actually vote. Because it's all sniping and whining! The people who actually vote do so out of civic duty. Maybe if the politicians actually offered something positive to vote for, there'd be a bigger turnout.
I'm griping because by February 5th the candidates will be known and the national advertising will begin in earnest - 9 months in advance! I'm getting a headache already.
If you live in one of the early primary states, my sympathies. But the rest of us will be in the same boat all too soon.
Peace to us all.
