Feb. 3, 2008 Sunday

Every year I participate in the local Altzheimer's Assocation's "Walk for the Cure" (my mother had Altzheimer's). We get people to pledge amounts for each mile we walk on the Atlantic City boardwalk.

I usually do pretty good at convincing people to donate. For the last few years I've been in the top one hundred fund raisers for the walk. This year I raised more than a thousand dollars.

Yesterday, the Altzheimer's Association had a lunch for the top fund raisers at a local restaurant and I was invited. I brought my father as a guest.

It was fun, and I felt good having accomplished something of benefit.

Then it was home to the ongoing Great Clutter Eradication of 2008, which is a work in progress, with still a ways to go.

Enjoy your Super Bowl.
