Yesterday was my last day at work 'til after Christmas! Hooray. But that meant I was up 'til the wee hours Thursday night making cards and wrapping gifts for my co-workers (we're a very friendly company).I didn't get in to work 'til late, but I didn't get home 'til late either (had to make sure everything was functional until my return). I'm off all next week. Except Wednesday. A weird but necessary arrangement.
Between now and Christmas I still have much to do. I haven't begun to decorate the house for the season (except for the tree), and there is some serious housecleaning in order before I can greet friends and relatives who visit.
And then there's gift wrapping. Really looking forward to that.
Christmas day we will be back and forth visiting relatives, exchanging more gifts, eating too much and returning home exhausted.
