Tonight is Christmas in July in August.

Huh?

Well, I'm having a gathering of stampers and we'll be making our Christmas cards for this year. I've made several batches of Christmas cookies for snacks, and someone is bringing egg nog.

I did this last year, and it was really a lot of fun. I dug up my Christmas cd's for background music. The Husband suggested lowering the air conditioning so it'll be cold in here, but that would be a socially irresponsible squandering of energy (and an added expense), so we'll skip that part.

We discussed putting up a Christmas tree and decorations, but it was a very brief discussion and quickly forgotten. But everything else is ready.

Maybe it'll snow.
