We're havin' a heat wave. Actually, one of several heat waves. The overnight low temperatures were in the 80's. It's hot!

Fortunately I work in an air-conditioned office. And I drive an air-conditioned car. And I come home to an air-conditioned house.

But I still hafta get from the house to the car and the car to the office, and then back to the car and back to the house. Just enough for me to appreciate the folks who get to work outdoors all day.

We keep the thermostat at 78 at home, which is not particularly cool, but it does wring the humidity out of the air. Our housebound kitties can't appreciate how cool they are.

Neither can the Husband, who, working from home, never ventures out into this miserable heat.

I guess that leaves it up to me to remind everyone how hot it is.
