O.P.I.E. (the Orange Pussycat Internet Experience) is a family organization dedicated to the wildlife relocation project initiated by O.P.Cat (Opie, for short). Opie's back yard abuts a large wooded area where Opie spends much of his time, and from whence he brings it all back home, one critter at a time, unharmed. Opie shares living quarters with two computer geeks (Husband and Wife), who attempt to control the project by returning the refugees to their original habitats. This ensures the perpetuity of the project. Opie is joined by a young apprentice assistant, a calico/tortoiseshell named c.c. who follows Opie around, learning the fine points of the trade as she goes.
