Shortly after getting out of college I splurged on a brand-new Triumph TR-6 sports car. That was in December of 1972. Until last September, it had spent the previous 22 years untouched in my garage. And now, after 5 months in the restoration shop, it's about ready to return home.

That's not definite, however. The restoration work will be completed, but it still has to be test driven and inspected, and they may find previously-undiscovered problems. This will all be revealed sometime in the next week or so. $$

In the meantime, that portion of the garage that it had occupied for the past 22 years has begun to accumulate clutter, and I will be spending this weekend making a welcome home space for it.

And it's s'posed to rain all weekend, but hopefully the sunny days are not far behind for me and my 35-year-old convertible :)
