Hunky:
. Our usually-accurate internal clocks tell us we're due for a change.

Dorie:  The Husband uses the spare bedroom as an office, so when he's working in there, we're in there ...

Hunky: . ... and we'll perch on the windowsill and occasionally observe the world.

Dorie:  We have noted during our lifetimes (3 years) that the world outside our window changes with regularity.

Hunky: . There is winter, with all the snow and wind and nasty weather ...

Dorie: . ... and spring, with the birds flying in and out of the trees ...

Hunky:  ... and summer when lots of people are outdoors ...

Dorie: . ... and fall, when all the leaves change colors and fall off the trees.

Hunky: . Which is where we are now, except the leaves are green and staying put, and the weather is warm and we're confused.

Dorie: . So we perch on our windowsill and wait patiently for the change. It'll be here soon. I'm pretty sure. I think.
