Hunky: . The Husband has been walking funny recently.

Dorie:  You'd walk funny too if you had that black thing strapped to your leg.

Hunky: . It really slows him down. He can't get far before he has to put his foot up and rest.

Dorie:  Do you think it's stuck on there and he can't get it off?

Hunky: . No he takes it off at night. His leg is all purple and swollen underneath.

Dorie:  I would think so from wearing that thing all day.

Hunky: . No, he hurt his leg and that thing will make it better.

Dorie:  You call that an improvement? Clumping around in that thing all day wears him out, and he can only take small steps. Do you know how long it takes him to get our dinner?

Hunky: . It's only for a short time. He'll get rid of it when his leg is better..

Dorie:  Looks t'me like that'll be a pretty lengthy short time.
