The Opie Project is currently in Phase III, which chronicles the upbringing of Opie's two roommates, Hunky and Dorie, littermates who arrived on the premises at the age of fourteen weeks.

Cat notes May 17, 2008 Saturday Hunky: .The bird of the day is ... Dorie: ..... the Woodpecker! Hunky: And we thought the owl was an odd bird, just sitting up there hooting. Dorie: ..We have yet to observe this particular species ... Hunky: .... but he's nearby - and loud! Dorie: ..Not his call, just the noise he makes pecking at tree trunks - it sounds like a hammer. Hunky: And he always does it in our private quiet time ... Dorie: ..... which is the period of daylight between dawn and when the Husband and Wife finally get up and feed us! Hunky: So we sit at the window and try to figure out where that annoying woodpecker is. Dorie: ..Until feeding, anyway. Wife Notes Updated 5/15/08. I am in my fifth year of my stamping hobby. And loving it. It started small enough - a few stamp sets, some card stock, and a free weekend and I was churning out personalized greeting cards for friends and family. But there are so many stamp sets that I wanted, and so many things I wanted to create, that it turned out to be cheaper to become a demonstrator and get a company discount. I was already meeting my quota with my own purchases. ...................................................................................... Husband Notes Updated 5/13/08. I have five old record players. None of 'em work. I discovered that when I decided to convert my collection of old vinyl records to digital mp3 files. After a day of dusting and cleaning one, then the next, until I got to the last one and still couldn't play any records, I went to Radio Shack (yep, they still sell 'em) and bought a new one. I then spent twelve hours converting old lp's to digital files. It was fun. I was listening to stuff I hadn't listened to in decades and couldn't stop until hunger drove me into the kitchen. .....................................................................................
