Hunky: . The last two days were a weekend.

Dorie:  We're not sure what that means, except that the Wife usually hangs around both days ...

Hunky:  ... unlike the rest of the week when she's out foraging for our food.

Dorie:  But this just-completed weekend left us without the Husband or Wife to warm up to. They didn't even come home to sleep..

Hunky:  But they've done this a coupla times before.

Dorie:  So we've learned how to anticipate it - the biggest hint is when extra bowls of dry food appear on the floor ...

Hunky:  ... and extra bowls of water ...

Dorie:  ... then we know something's up.

Hunky:  But we also know they'll soon be back.

Dorie:  And we'll be waiting in anticipation.
