The
Bathroom
begun January 17, 2004
Task: To replace a chipped sink and pitted metal medicine cabinet, and to give the bathroom a new look.
The old sink and vanity cabinet ...
were the first to go ...
The new sink was too wide ... so we cut out the walls!
... but the sink did fit - barely
... but it meant a bucket o' spackling on the walls.
The floor pad was installed over the old vinyl floor ...
The flooring itself snapped together - no nails or glue.
The medicine cabinet was relatively easy -- out with the old
...
... in with the new! (everything was preassembled).
The white trim and doors received fresh paint ...
... applied deftly by the Wife.
Add some finishing
touches ...
... and call in the inspector.
